Pakistani dramas influence on society.

Those days are gone when families used to sit together and watch television. Is  that true modernization has changed the norms and values in Pakistani society or is it the right time to show all that onscreen?  Well if we talk about our film and drama society then these both are playing equal roles. They both have positive as well as negative aspects. Starting with our drama industry. Comparatively Pakistani dramas are far better than Pakistani films which are being broadcast nowadays. How? Let me tell you then Pakistani dramas have script, acting and talent. Yes you heard me right our script is something we should definitely appreciate. Our writers are doing a great job. So many dramas are famous worldwide for not only their acting skills but the script. Dramas like “Cheekh '' have shown us why it is necessary to raise our voice.  Dramas like “Dar si jati hai sila”  showed that girls don’t only get bullied in institutes but some girls face that problem at home. I cannot even write all those dramas which are influencing society so well.

Yes, our dramas are bad at showing family politics to some extent. There is a race of rating and channels forget that is the content appropriate enough to broadcast. Basic purpose of dramas nowadays is to get the highest rating. Another problem I want to discuss is that channels are airing Turkish and Indian dramas which are representing their culture. Our children are fans of those dramas and that is where our values and culture is at stake. The love and affairs shown in these dramas are quite objectionable. Our authorities should play an important role and should broadcast healthy and socialized materials. And our audience should be aware enough to make sure that whatever airing is not worth watching.
